Information provided to the service
We process account names, email addresses, password hashes, business details, subscription records, support conversations and feature requests. A repair business may enter customer contact information, service addresses, vehicle details, estimates, authorizations, invoices, job notes, photos, appointments, messages, employee records and expenses. Customers may provide information through booking pages or the customer portal. Do not submit information that is unnecessary for these workflows.
Technical information and necessary storage
Servers record technical information such as IP addresses, request paths, timestamps and error information for operation and security. Necessary session cookies support login and account access. Browser storage may remember preferences such as theme or navigation settings. The public marketing website currently has no advertising pixels or third-party analytics tracking installed. Changes that materially affect these practices will be reflected in this policy.
Why we process information
We use information to create and authenticate accounts, operate business workspaces, deliver documents and notifications, manage bookings and messages, verify payments and subscriptions, answer support requests, prevent abuse and maintain the service. Repair businesses determine the customer information they submit and how they use it for their services.
Providers and payment information
Hosting and email infrastructure providers, including Spaceship, support service operation. Square processes subscription payments and connected repair payments under its own terms and privacy practices. ATP Shop stores relevant payment identifiers, subscription status and billing records, but does not store full card numbers or card security codes. Square may receive account, business and payment information needed for an authorized transaction.
Sharing and access
We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We share information with service providers as needed to operate the product, with the relevant repair business and authorized users for the customer workflow, when you direct us to share a document or message, or as required by law or to protect rights and security. Platform administrators may access information needed for support, security and service administration. We may transfer relevant records as part of a business transfer, subject to applicable requirements and notice.
Repair-business customers
If you book or receive services from a repair business using ATP Shop, that business is responsible for its customer relationship and service records. Its privacy practices may also apply. Contact the repair business about its records, messages or repair services. You can also contact us about ATP Shop’s handling of your information, and we may coordinate with the business to verify and fulfill the request.
Retention and privacy requests
We retain information while needed to provide the account and service, handle billing and support, protect security and meet applicable obligations. Some records may remain in backups or be retained for disputes or legal requirements after an account ends. Contact repairs@autotechpete.com to request access, correction, export or deletion; we verify the requester and consider applicable rights, the repair business’s role and any retention requirements. We do not guarantee immediate erasure of every backup copy.
Security and your responsibilities
We use protections including HTTPS, account access controls, password hashing and encryption of stored integration credentials. These measures do not eliminate all risk. Protect your password, keep devices secure and do not publish private customer-document links. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Location and children
The service is hosted in the United States and may process information there even when a user is elsewhere. ATP Shop is intended for adult business users and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s information for a child-directed service. Contact us if you believe such information has been submitted.
