Offer services plus a place to describe symptoms
A service list helps customers who know what they need. A text field helps those who only know what the car is doing. Use both so the request is useful without requiring the customer to diagnose their own vehicle.
Collect the information that affects the visit
Ask for contact information, the vehicle and service location. Review whether the requested work can be done safely at that location, what equipment may be needed and whether parts or additional diagnosis must come first.
Set realistic availability
Use different hours by weekday and date-specific exceptions. Estimated service duration can help plan slots, but travel, access and unexpected repair work still require your judgment. Keep the customer’s preferred time subject to approval.
Turn the request into prepared work
Review and approve the appointment, then refine a draft estimate with the required parts and labor. ATP Shop connects the booking to appointments and uses eligible labor-guide selections as a starting point for the quote.
