Start with the concern and vehicle
Record the customer’s description of the problem, then identify the vehicle. Keep diagnosis separate from a confirmed repair when the cause is not known. Avoid presenting a parts replacement as certain before the required inspection.
Use a title and a useful description
A title helps the customer scan the work. The description explains the scope, including what is included and any important exclusions. Separate parts and labor so the customer can follow what is being supplied and what work is being performed.
Review the quantities and adjustments
Check part quantities, labor hours, rate, markup, discounts, diagnostic credit and tax settings. Saved labor-guide services can save time, but the final quote should reflect the vehicle and the repair in front of you.
Send the document and keep the decision
Use a branded estimate and a private approval link. Keep the approved work connected to the job. If the scope changes, explain the additional work and document the customer’s decision before doing it. ATP Shop connects these records so they can travel through the repair workflow.
