Record the starting condition
Capture the concern, relevant mileage and observations. Photos can help explain visible issues, but use notes to give them context. Check that images belong to the correct job before sharing them.
Document decisions as work changes
Keep technical notes during diagnosis and repair. If additional work is needed, describe it and record the customer’s authorization through the appropriate workflow. Separate your internal working notes from the summary intended for the customer.
Check the completed work
Use the job checklist as a reminder to inspect the work, record mileage where relevant, capture completed photos and finish the notes. A checklist supports your process; it does not replace proper repair procedures or professional judgment.
Share a clear result
Explain the completed work in plain language, include the relevant photos and send the linked invoice. ATP Shop keeps documentation in the repair-order workspace and provides a private finished-work page with your review link.
